Professional Resume

... His interest in shock-wave therapy began in 1997. In November, 1999 he became a founding member of S.I.T.O.D. (the Italian Society for Shock-wave Therapy) and served on the Board of Directors for the two-year period 2000/2002 , holding the office of Probo Viro (Arbitrator).
He was elected to the office of Counselor to this scientific society for the two-year term of 2002/2004. He is a member of the I.S.M.S.T. (International Society for Musculoskeletal Shock-wave Therapy) . Since 1999 he has attended all of the conferences of the Italian Society and the International Society as a speaker and/or moderator. He has administered approximately 10,000 shock-wave treatments for musculoskeletal pathologies.
Curriculum
He collaborates with the Biochemical Institute of the University of Verona, directed by Prof. Hisanori Suzuki, with regard to biochemical and molecular studies of the effect of shock-waves on cells.

He collaborates with the Section of Rehabilitation Neurology of the University of Verona directed by Prof. A. Fiaschi for clinical studies on the effect of the shock waves on the spastic muscle.

From January 01th 2005 he is Chief of the Shock Wave Unity of the University Hospital of Verona.

From April 01th 2007 to July 31th 2008 he was Chief of the Hand Surgery Unity of the University Hospital of Verona. (continue)
